Server Information
Version: Latest Release 26.3
Server Rules
SpectralSMP has zero tolerance for the following:
- Inappropriate comments towards/about minors.
- Sharing, distributing or soliciting CSAM/sexual abuse material.
- Leaking the private information of others (doxxing), or joking about/threatening to do so.
- Real-world or violent threats.
- Attempting to DDoS the server, or joking about/threatening to do so.
- Coordinated attacks against the server.
Anyone found engaging in any of the above will be Community Banned without appeal, and reported externally in certain cases.
Treat other players with respect. Any harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs, threats or discrimination may result in a warning, mute or ban depending on the context. Slur baiting and substituting slurs with similar or obvious alternatives is also not allowed. Jokes are allowed, but "it was a joke" or "we were having a laugh" does not excuse harassment or targeted abuse.
NSFW and sexually explicit content is not allowed. Discussing or debating politics and religion is not allowed. Posting links that are suspicious or malicious is not allowed. We don't allow self-promotion or advertising. If you want to promote a stream, channel or anything else, get in touch with Management! These restrictions also apply to skins, usernames, builds, signs, pixel art, item names, books and map arts.
Griefing builds or the area surrounding them is forbidden. This also includes abusing land claim to harass other players. Stealing outside of claims is fine, but dismantling builds or farms isn't allowed. We encourage all players to claim builds and areas they want to protect. Land that is claimed but has gone unused for a prolonged period risks having claim protection removed. /tp traps are also acceptable - Use /tp at your own discretion!
PVP and killing for loot are allowed. However, we don't allow malicious disruption. Anyone found spawn trapping, repeatedly killing with no gain or bullying a player with the main goal of stopping them from playing will be punished.
Any form of cheating, hacking or exploiting to gain a gameplay advantage (or PVP advantage) is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, X-raying, duplicating items, macros/scripts, autoclickers, killaura, ESP, speed hacks, entity hacks and fly hacks.
Attempting to cause server-wide lag or disrupt the server will result in a ban. If a farm, build or excessive use of entities is causing heavy server lag, you may be asked to remove it or disable it. Attempting to compromise, or compromising, the accounts of others is also not allowed.
Real-world trading (RWT) is the exchange of virtual in-game items, currency or accounts for real-world money, or vice versa. Engaging in RWT may result in your items or progress being wiped, and may also result in a permanent ban. Account swapping to abuse quests or daily rewards is also not allowed.
Attempting to circumvent a ban or mute by using alternate accounts or evading punishment will result in a ban. Faking or providing false evidence in reports is not allowed. Impersonating staff members in-game or in Discord is not allowed, and may result in a permanent ban.
Rules are not limited to the examples listed above. Deliberately abusing loopholes, attempting to circumvent or bend rules or engaging in behaviour that clearly undermines the server or other players is not allowed and may result in punishment.
FAQ

Yes! Store Ranks are a strict one-time purchase and do not expire. However, repeated violations may result in your rank being removed, with no option to repurchase. You should always create a ticket in the Discord server before making a purchase if you are unsure or have any questions.
Well, that's up to you. All we can do is give you the facts. SpectralSMP has no way to purchase in-game money, specific in-game resources or kits. There is only 1 crate on the server, and that is the vote crate that all players have access to regardless of rank. Premium ranks are entitled to premium daily rewards, player & chat cosmetics and QOL commands like /echest.
